I have had the opportunity to live outside of Utah for a considerable period of time and experienced property taxes in other states. I have siblings who lived most of their lives in the rust belt, Pittsburgh, PA. Housing is relatively inexpensive in Pittsburgh but the values don’t really go up. My siblings sold their homes for close to what they paid for them. Why?
